In order to prepare his installations, Tadashi Kawamata makes models. These are the only traces, memories and archives of its constructions, because they are mainly all ephemeral. These works, produced in the form of a wooden model, take up recurring iconographic elements in Kawamata's work: the hut and the nest. The artist makes them suddenly and unexpectedly intervene in the urban space. Kawamata made this model for one of his installations, small huts perched on the facades of the Center Pompidou. He reproduces here, part of the structure of the center, on which at the angle is suspended a "nest".
