Artwork's description

These line of steel take the form of spirals, with random twists, which seem to free themselves from mathematical constraints, while retaining It expressiveness. Bernar Venet by an action of repeated twists tests the plastic limits of the material. These line come to an end but suggest their continuity in space. The artist seeks here, to create an indeterminate work, which when we get around, twists, knots, without real outcome. This spiral embodies both elegance and brutality. Venet approaches through this indetermination a rigorous way of approaching the question of disorder.
